Psalm 3, verses 3 and 4, “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill.”
I once had a pet that suffered abuse at the hands of its former owner. Each time I would reach out my hand, it would cower and expect the worst. I didn’t know what to do, so I prayed, and God showed me what to do. Turning my hand palm up, I lifted her head every day until her eyes were looking into mine. You know, she eventually learned that she was in a safe place, and there was nothing she was afraid of anymore.
The hand of Jesus is towards you, my friend, today. If you will, He will lift up your head and you can look into His face and see nothing but love. It’s time to pray.
Thanks so much for this true, inspiring story!

I love these daily devotionals and sermons given by Rev Carter Colon. I don't think we have a church like that in San Diego. I'm glad I signed up for a subscription.
AMEN N AMEN...Jesus is the lifter of my head.
