Psalm 34, beginning at verse 1: “I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord. The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”
Every believer in Christ has been given a new song to sing. David, the psalmist, says that this song can be seen even before it can be heard. It’s a song of freedom, of trust. It’s a song of hope. It’s a song that we must never allow to be hidden. Why, you ask? Because people who know that they, too, need God’s help will hear it and they will be glad. It’s a song that if you and I ask for it today, it will invite others also to know God.
Remember now, it’s time to pray.
