Ephesians 5:11–13: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.”
The purpose of light is to expose and diffuse darkness everywhere it travels. If you study it, you find out it can do so at an astonishing speed as long as it remains unhindered.
To be effective as a light set upon a hill requires a separation from every practice that the Bible defines as darkness. Make the break from that which is hindering the light of God in you. Do it today. Let your life become a constant challenge by example to the darkness that thinks there’s nothing to subdue.
It’s time to pray.
