Psalm 24, “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.”
You and I live in a time where society is disintegrating before our very eyes. We ask ourselves, “Who among us will stand?” As evil is beginning to demand that everyone to bow before it, the answer is clear: it’s those whose hands, hearts, motives and speech have been empowered by Christ Himself-who lived, who died and lives again, that all people might be set free from the power of sin and evil. Those who are enabled by Him will stand.
It’s time to pray.
