Psalm 22 and verse 1, King David says these words, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, and from the words of My groaning? O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear; and in the night season, and am not silent.”
Have you ever felt forsaken? Have you felt so alone that nobody can hear the cries of your heart? You know, you are not alone. David felt what you do, and even Jesus called out these words from the cross. What we learn from those who have gone before us is that when we come to an end, God is just beginning to show His power through our lives.
Read the rest of Psalm 22 and then let your cries be turned to a cry of hope for tomorrow. David said, “You have answered Me. I will declare Your name to My brethren; in the midst of the assembly I will praise You.”
It’s time to pray.
