Acts chapter 2, verse 1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.”
These brothers and sisters in Christ, in spite of their own weakness, got together and decided to do things God’s way. They began to pray, and when they began to pray, God came and gave them power to stand and fight back against a social order that was threatening to swallow the very testimony of God. They stepped into the marketplace with the power of God, and not only the religious of that time but eventually the Roman Empire bent its knee to Jesus Christ.
It’s time to pray.
