When I Cry
/

Psalm 56 and verse 9 says this: “When I cry out to You, then my enemies will turn back. This I know, because God is for me.”

Sometimes we find ourselves, because of our own mistakes or failures, in a place where our enemies have the upper hand, and even, in some cases, have us surrounded. In 1 Kings chapter 22, King Jehoshaphat found himself in such a situation. Surrounded by opposing forces, he cried out to God for his help. Suddenly, those intent on harming him turned back from pursuing him.

If you have found yourself overwhelmed today because you are in the wrong place, doing what you shouldn’t do, cry out for God’s help. Remember, King David said these words: “God is for me.” And I’m telling you today that God is for you.

It’s time to pray.

    Pastor Carter,

As I opened my email and read Psalm 56:9 when Kind David cried our for God's help, I felt moved.

My son-in-law Mr. Asani is in great pain and can't eat because of tooth pain. The doctor said that he could not remove it because the tooth is entangled with the nerve and removing it will cause more damage and he might remain with the pain for the rest of his life. My daughter is so worried and has called off from work for two days now. I believe God is for us - for my son-in-law. We refuse to believe the report of the doctor but continue to pray and fast; while standing on the promises of the God!! Our God is a miracle God. Hallelujah.

Stand in prayers with us in prayers for his healing Pastor Carter. God bless you.
