When All Seems To Be Lost

Psalm 61, verses 2 and 3: “From the end of the earth I will cry to You when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for you have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy.”

There’s a song that we sometimes sing here at Times Square Church. Here’s how it goes, it goes: “Take me back, take me back to the place where I first received you. Take me back, take me back where I first believed.” David, the Psalmist, tells us that when all seems to be lost, when we cry out to God, He will take us back to where we have always known Him, to faithfully be our Shelter and our Defender. Let Jesus be to you everything today that He wants to be. Take time, cry out to Him now. He’s not offended by your cry. As a matter of fact, He’s been waiting for it for so long. Let Him set you free.

It’s time to pray.

In Psalm 139 sets a reminder of Gods knowledge of us but has also a great encouraging word of the leading of God for our lives even when it's dark He is our light,He has hedged us behind and before, may the Lord God almighty deepen your faith in trusting in Him alone.I find my strength every day comes from His word,And when my heart is overwhelmed He is my rock, keep our eyes on Jesus and continue to seek Him and continue to pray for an awakening in us and for family, friends, and be strong in the Lord dare to pray for our nations and the great amount of souls who are lost is sin.Redeem the time and pray and live so other don't see us but Christ in us.Blessing from Canada,Thank you.

I feel led off the Lord to make a comment, I wanted to say a very big thank you to times square church for your daily devotionals, and in particular for the fact that we can listen to them, as well as being able to read them, this I believe is truly of the Lord, and although designed by man, inspired by God, you see, all my life I have struggled with a literacy problem not being able to read or write can be quite difficult when it comes to daily devotionals, so the fact that I am able to listen to God's word through your website, and the sermons, is immensely helpful, through the miracle of modern technology, I am able to dictate this response to you, and my computer reads it back to me, glory to God, he has made a way where there seems to be no way, keep up the good work, meanwhile ,may the good Lord, richly bless all that you do in his wonderful name.and remember, it's time to pray.
