Listen to these incredible words of Jesus Christ in Matthew chapter 21 and verse 22. He said, “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
What profound words. Now the apostle James left us three profound thoughts on prayer. Firstly, in James chapter 1 and verse 6, it must be accompanied by faith without any doubting. Secondly, in James chapter 4 verse 3, prayer must not be self-seeking and motivated solely for personal pleasure and gain. And lastly, James chapter 5 verses 16 to 18, tells us that prayer has the power to introduce us to the supernatural workings of God.
Which brings us again to our opening text. Jesus said “Whatever.” It’s time to bring your “whatever” to God. That which you’ve always longed for, but up to this point you’ve dared not to ask.
It’s time to pray.
