What You Put On the Wall Matters

Proverbs chapter 2, beginning at verse 1: “My son, if you receive my words,

And treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.”

In these verses was a promise I felt as a young believer in Christ that God Himself had given to me. I wrote them out and put them on my farm house kitchen wall. Everyday I was able to meditate on them and read them and learned to apply it to my heart. I began to cry out for the ability to love good and to hate evil. I lifted my voice for God to give me understanding of His Word. I tell you, my friend, over the years, I found out one thing: God answers prayer!

It’s time to pray.

I am in need of prayer. I have hurt my back and hip and I am also dealing with anxiety. Prayers for my son who is having bladder problems. (Frequent urination) they are sending him for bloodwork this morning and if they can't find any answers there they are sending him to a urologist. Thank you for prayers! God Bless you as well.
