The book of Philippians, chapter 4, verses 6 and 7, says these words: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
It’s so easy in this prayerless time in which we’re living to be overcome with fear and worry. Will our children get sick? Are we safe from the new sicknesses which are so terrifying? Will we be attacked by those who hate us? Is our economy stable? What does my future hold?
Though I don’t know what your future holds, I do know Who holds your future. You are safe in the hands of God. God promises peace—supernatural peace in your heart which will keep you.
It’s time for you and I again to pray.
