Psalms 20, beginning at verse 7: “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright. Save, Lord! May the King answer us when we call.“
In the thousands of years of biblical history, you and I know without any doubt, this one thing: God answers prayer. He has shown that He can do all things for those who call out to Him. From stopping the movement of the sun for Joshua, to whispering words of comfort to a mother sorrowing for her children. When we pray, nothing is too big or too small to move His heart and His hand. Today, remember that when others around you see their trust failing and falling, you are promised that in Christ, you will stand.
It’s time to pray.
