To Someone Who Is Alone

The book of Ephesians, chapter 3, beginning at verse 17 says, “You, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and depth and length; to know the love of Christ which passes all knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Today you find yourself sitting on the subway this morning wondering if anyone sees you or if anyone really cares. You’re alone in your apartment, a bus, in the street, perhaps in a restaurant reading this, and you’re feeling, well, so alone.

The truth, though, is that you’re not all by yourself. God surrounds you with a love so rich, so deep, so wonderful, that neither your heart nor your mind could fully contain it. Are you wondering if this is true? Well, then, ask Him yourself. Close your eyes right now and ask Him to show you that He’s right there.

It’s time to pray.

This is so what I needed to read today, The Lord has been affirming His love for me, All the people who showed me love in this world have passed on to be with the Lord. I am 56, and already widowed. I lost both my parents this year. My best friend and prayer partner also has passed. Thank you for the encouraging words. You have no idea how I drank in this blessing! Thank you Jesus!
