Psalm 93, verses 3 and 4, “The floods have lifted up oh Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice, the floods lift up their waves, the Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea.”
The apostle Peter once walked on the water, that is until he looked at the waves and became very, very afraid. Beginning to sink, he reached for the hand of the Son of God who stands in complete victory over every storm that we will ever have to face.
There is no shame in crying out to God. Don’t be afraid to do that. It’s a simple prayer he prayed: Lord help me. It’s a short but a great prayer. Lord lift up your hand and let the strength of heaven raise us up again today. Don’t be afraid to pray this.
This is Carter Conlon. It’s time to pray!
