The Prayer of the Destitute

Psalm 102 verses 17 and 18 says this, “He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, and shall not despise their prayer. This will be written for the generation to come, that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord.

God has always proven Himself faithful in days gone by. He has taken people not in our strength, but in our weakness. His power has come upon those who have no power within themselves. Out of the ashes of human failure, He has raised again a beautiful testimony about who He is and what He is able to do. Don’t think for a moment that because you might be down that God despises your prayer. You’re never bankrupt. God has given you a voice. He’s given you a heart to believe. Go to the throne of God and let your words come before Him and say, “Lord I am that person you wrote about.”

I’m coming to you, and I’m believing: it’s time to pray!

Grateful for TSC. I worshiped when Pastor David was with us, and now live in another state, and grateful I can watch Sunday service via the Internet. I ask for prayer for my immediate family, the Lord knows each and everyone by name, and their unique circumstances, but particularly for my brother James, who has struggled with drugs/alcohol/incarceration most of his life. No mentors, no father. He's 54 and spends a lot of time alone. Can't find work because of his past. A Loving Sis
