The gospel of Mark, chapter 9, beginning at verse 21 says, “So He asked his father, ‘How long has this been happening to him?’ And he said, ‘From childhood.’ And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.’ Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'”
God has power to bring back that which has been lost, and this power has been shown all throughout the Bible-from the widow at Nain, Lazarus in the tomb, the woman who lost her virtue, disciples who had lost their directions, strength and their sense of well-being. He has the power to speak and command life and freedom to come back again. It begins with our speaking to Him. The father of the child said, “Lord I believe. Help my unbelief.”
It’s time to pray.
