The book of First Peter, chapter 4, verses 4 and 5, “In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.”
The history of humankind is replete with scores of people who once knew the goodness of God but have walked away from His mercy and grace. In a predictable pattern, they begin to speak evil on those who remain loyal to spiritual truth. They have described to us motives of evil, such as bigotry and intolerance. What they never understood is that all will soon stand before the throne of God-when truth will be their judge. The ungodly will face the deepest fear known to man. May God show them the pathway to mercy while there is still time.
It’s time to pray.
