The Law of Kindness
/

Proverbs 31, and verse 26 says this: “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.” The Bible defines a virtuous person as someone who can be identified by his or her speech. You know, when we consider this, we realize what an incredible testimony this can be in light of how evil the general speech of this fallen society has now become. A person who speaks kindly can do so because he is aware of how kind God has been to him. By the grace of God, he’s able to put away unkindness and become an ambassador of God throughout his day.

Listen to Paul’s words when he says, “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, evil-speaking be put away from you with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as God in Christ forgave you.”

It’s time to pray.
