The Hour Is Late

The words of Jesus, Luke chapter 13 verses 4 and 5: “Or those 18 on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you no; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

We remember the suddenness of the day that the towers fell in New York City. Sunshine turned to sorrow, and clear skies to a dust-filled gray. I’m thankful that I had the chance to share the way of salvation with some in the tower before they faced that terrible day.

You and I must pray for the courage to speak to so many who will soon face eternity. The hour is late, and the days are getting darker. For their sakes, we must and we will be the lights that clearly show them the way to eternal safety.

My brother, my sister, it’s time to pray.
