Thanksgiving

Listen to the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians, chapter 4, beginning at verse 6, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

As believers in Jesus Christ today, we have so much to be thankful for. Firstly, we have an eternity with all of its unimaginable wonders to look forward to, and then while we journey down here, we have the comfort of knowing that the very same God who gave us His Son will not withhold from us those things that He knows that we need.

The scripture tells us that whoever comes to God must know that He’s good and He’s a rewarder of those who diligently seek him, so come to Him today with a heart full of thanksgiving.

It’s time to pray.
