Stability In Uncertain Times
/

Psalm 55 and verse 22 says this, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”

Now the Bible speaks of a time coming to this world where everything that can be shaken will be shaken. Long-held values, traditions, and practices will fall. Many people will be overcome with fear. The good news today is that God promises those who turn to Him that we will be given stability in uncertain times. Think about this for a moment-the One who created the universe lives inside of us, and He will be our inner strength; the one who holds us up when nothing else can. Turn to Him now; let the full strength of Christ victory become yours today.

It’s time to pray.

I really needed to read this, this morning. I pray all the time because of this instability in the world. I see the serious issues facing us and feel shaken myself. My faith is being challenged and I pray daily for faithfulness unto death. I know the Lord warned, in Matt. 24, that with the increase of wickedness the love of most would grow cold. I pray against that happening to me, the persecuted, and my family. I know it can happen, so I pray against it. I wake up several times a night and talk with the Lord about all of this.
On another note, I am so thankful the Lord brought you to Times Square Church. I had prayed for years that the Lord would bring someone who was filled with the passion and Spirit (like David Wilkerson ) to be head pastor one day, so that the flame would not go out. When I first heard you on CDs I knew you were the one the Lord brought. I am so thankful for you. I pray daily for several ministers whom the Lord has used to teach, correct, and guide me. You are on this list. It is interesting but the men and women whom the Lord has used in my life are all different, but their lives, and their words are those of my Lord. Some wear suits, some wear casual everyday clothes, some are forceful, and some are more quiet in their delivery, but the Spirit of the Lord is in all of you. The list is not long, but God has used all of you in my life. I am in a denomination which has denied the power of the Spirit, When I received the Spirit ( I told the Lord that if what I saw around me was Christianity , I didn't want it! I said I saw something more in His Word and I wanted the more. He answered me. It has been very costly, but I would never return to the deadness there was before.

God be with all His children around the world. The suffering of the persecuted keeps me praying. My soul is exceedingly burdened for the global church.
