Psalm 39 verses 11-13, “When with rebukes You correct man for iniquity, You make his beauty melt away like a moth; surely every man is vapor. ‘Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear to my cry; do not be silent at my tears; for I am a stranger with You, a sojourner, as all my fathers were. Remove Your gaze from me, that I may regain strength, before I go away and am no more.’”
This Psalmist felt that God was looking at him and in that wonderful presence of the righteous God he felt the iniquity of his own heart. You know when God looks at you and He looks at me, and reveals Himself to us so that we see our hearts, it’s only that we might be able to understand His heart. His heart towards us is to restore us, to lift us up, to give us strength, to open our prison doors, to heal us where we need healing. Don’t turn away from God, He hasn’t turned away from you.
It’s time to pray!
