Silence In A Critical Time

It is true, as once mentioned by Paul the apostle, that we all want to live a quiet and peaceable life. Now to most of us, moving in a direction that might be contrary to this doesn’t really come easily. In Queen Esther’s case, her silence in a critical time was no guarantee of her own future. Listen to the words of her cousin Mordecai in the book of Esther chapter 4 verses 13 and 14, “And Mordecai told them to answer Esther; ‘Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For If you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?’

My beloved friend, it’s time to pray!

I will earnestly pray, and I will
warm people to repent, and the
    church to wake up!

And I will pray for men to rise up
    And boldly declair God's word!
