Shouting with Angels

Luke chapter 2 beginning at verse 11, “For there is born to you this day in the City of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign to you: You will find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

At Christmas time we realize once again that we have great reasons to rejoice. The Son of God, who could have come to us as a full grown man, instead, came as a baby, clothed in weakness and laying in a place of poverty and vulnerability in this world. In doing so, not only was He identifying with our weaknesses, but also showing us that He was not offended by our struggles.

He loves us. He loves you, and He had come to save us, and to bring us home to be with Him again. This year I intend to shout with the angels, “Glory to God in the highest and on Earth peace, good will towards men.” It’s time to pray.
