The book of Zechariah, chapter 4, beginning at verse 6, “‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!'”
Just as it was then, so too today the work can seem to be so hard. We, too, can be tempted to say the opposition is too strong; the decay of our present moment in society is too deep. Yes, it’s too difficult for man, that’s true. . . but never too difficult for God! Remember, God Himself said, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
Oh yes, you and I will finish the work that God has given us to do, and when we get to the end, we will shout, “Grace!” I promise you, you should practice it now.
It’s time to pray.
