Seeing With Heaven's Eyes

2 Kings chapter 6, beginning at verse 15: “And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army surrounding the city with horses and chariots. His servant said to him, ‘Alas, my master! What shall we do?’ So he answered, ‘Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them!’ And Elisha prayed and said, ‘Lord, I pray, open his eyes, that he may see.’ Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

I’ve found that people that don’t pray are unaware of the resources of heaven which daily surround them. They wring their hands at every trial as if God Himself doesn’t exist. In contrast, those who do pray, as Elisha did, see every situation with heaven’s eyes and hearts confident of victory.

My brother, my sister, it’s time to pray.

Praying like this every single is the only reason I'm still alive today. And I must not ever forget to thank God each and every single day for the gifts He had given me. As Jesus said: With God all things are possible.

We must trust and exercise our faith
that it may increase day by day knowing that we have a powerfull God. May we increase in strength believing him for the miraculous. He is with us in every situation fighting our battles.
