Psalm 37, beginning at verse 14, “The wicked have drawn the sword and have bent their bow to cast down the poor and needy, to slay those who are of upright conduct. Their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.”
I never believed that I would live to see a day when speech has become so evil. Lying, cursing, and unrestricted filthy talk seems to be the order of the day. Those of us who want to speak truth today find ourselves under the barrage of this deceitful speaking. Yet God promises in this time to fully keep all of us who have chosen to use our tongue to speak for Him. The Bible goes on to tell us that in the days of famine, we shall be satisfied.
It’s time to pray.
