Psalm 119 beginning at verse 35, “Make me walk in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it. Incline my heart to your testimonies and not to covetousness. Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things and revive me in your way.”
The psalmist here is praying for revival. A revival in his own heart that will re-engage him with the will of God for his life and will turn his heart and affections away from his continual focus on worthless things.
One day, everything you see with your natural eye will be gone. It will be dissolved, except for the people that pass you and I by every day. Revival means returning to the work of God and that work is that they might be saved.
It’s time to pray.
