Put Away and Unheeded

The book of Acts, chapter 27, verses 21 and 22: “But after a long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, ‘Men you should have listened to me, and not sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss. Now I urge you to take heart, for there shall be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.'”

For a long time in this country, the church has been largely absent from meaningful influence on our forward journey. Self-focused, marginalized, out of view, and relegated to obscurity, we have, as Paul was, been put away and largely unheeded. Though out of view and influence, Paul began to pray. The Lord Jesus gave Him a word and direction not only for himself, but for all those around him. The nation will soon be calling for your voice and mine again.

It’s time for you and I to pray.

So very encouraged, while in Edmonton with my son,who has come to surrendering his life to Christ. We were blessed that the church he is going to has called a solemn assembly for the prayer, reflection and repentance, with a deep desire for spirit renewal,it was a great blessing to see and hear what God is doing and His leading for us here in Canada, and the world. The program ...Its time to pray, has been a great encouragement to me to continue the fight.I know Of Gods faithfulness ,mercy and grace in my live,to have witnessed many answered prayers in my life and in others. We serve a Mighty God who's mercy never ends.May the strength and courage of God be in you as you respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit. In Matthew 11:28-30. Jesus invites us to come all who are weary and burdened, and He will give us rest.Take His yoke upon and to learn from Him for His is gentle and humble in heart, and we will find rest for our souls. For His yoke is easy and His burden is light.I thank God for you and the word that is sent out from Time Square Church is has been a call to find what it is to thrive in the all-sufficiency of Jesus.
