Psalm 78, beginning at verse one, “Give ear, O my people, to my law; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.”
It was the Apostle Paul who said, “Our faith should not rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” A people who are truly wise will seek to rediscover that place of His power-not only for ourselves, as the Psalmist says, but for the sake of those who are following us. I’m not content to have the real power of God hidden from them, and neither should you be.
It’s time to pray.
