Out of the Belly of Hell

There are many people listening to my voice today who feel like they really can’t pray. You would say to me, “How could I possibly pray if you knew my struggles trials and difficulty? How could my voice and my life ever make a difference for anybody in this generation?”

Such was the case the prophet Jonah in the Old Testament. Listen to what he said: “I cried to the Lord because of my afflictions, and He answered me out of the belly of Sheol.” That means, “I was in an impossible place. I cried, and You heard my voice and You brought up my life from the pit, oh Lord my God. When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord, and my prayer went up to You into Your holy temple.”

And you of course know what God did. He spoke through this situation, brought him out of the place of impossibility and brought him right into the place where his life can have an effect on his generation.

It’s time to pray.

Thank you Pastor Carter It is true that the greater our circumstances are the more we must cry out to God Even if it's a faint cry from the heart that says Jesus, Help me, I cannot make it without You He is attentive to our cry He hears us and answers us Our part is simple Ask.That is what Jesus tells us to do in Matthew 7:7-11 You have reminded us and encouraged us to Pray without ceasing Luke 18:1 We must pray until we have an answer John 15:7 is an important commandment from our Lord regarding prayer I thank God that the prayer meetings are broadcast live for us to join in God bless you Pastor Carter Thank You for your love for Jesus, His Word, and for us
