Genesis, chapter 49 and verse 28, “All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father spoke to them. And he blessed them; he blessed each one according to his own blessing.”

Humankind, created in the image of God, has been uniquely given both the power of reason and speech. There’s incredible power in the words that you and I choose to say. As a matter of fact, Scripture tells us that both death and life are in the power of our tongues. Jacob spoke and blessed his children.

Today, what we choose to say to others really matters more than we could ever know. May God help us to have a speech seasoned with grace that stirs others to seek Him, just as we do.

It’s time to pray.

Today while speaking to an old friend,he reminded me of something that was said by me. We both were not saved. He d found out his wife had cheated on him .although he stayed in the marriage he was ready to cheat with someone who was about to be married.I was asked what I thought. My answer was don t do it! Twelve years later ,he has forgiven his wife and is saved.my words he said stopped him and we know now God was on the horizon.amen
