The Gospel of Mark, chapter 10, verse 27, ” But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.'”
One of my grandsons laughs out loud every time I say the words, “Oh phooey!” I don’t know their origin, but to me it means, “I don’t believe that for one second.” Though the situation varies-sometimes it’s my response when he says something like, “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to….” Oh, you just fill in the blank for that one.
But I know, from experience, that with God all things are possible. I wonder when sometimes you voice doubt about the possibilities that God has spoken over your life, that God doesn’t look at your words and say, “Oh phooey!”
It’s time to pray.
