Isaiah Chapter 29 and verse 13: “Therefore the Lord said, ‘Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me.'”

Psalm 66 and verse 18 states: “If I regard iniquity [that means wrong doing] in my heart, the Lord will not hear.”

In this season of crisis, it is imperative that we examine the motive of our hearts on this day of prayer. Do we really want Christ exalted again in our land? Are we willing to let His value system become ours, asking Him for forgiveness? Are we willing to forgive those who have fallen short of our expectations? We can’t have it, my friend, both ways. If our hearts are true though and our prayers are sincere, we can expect Him to answer.

It’s time to pray.
