The historical account of the great spiritual awakening in America in the year 1905 says the following: “Church membership in the seven major denominations jumped by eight hundred and seventy thousand, three hundred and eighty-nine people in the year 1906 alone. In five years, it had increased by two million and was still growing. The largest U.S domination in those days, the Methodist, in review, declared that the revival had sparked the public conscience, overthrown corrupt officials, crossed party lines, and elected governors, senators, assemblymen, mayors, and district attorneys had recognized honesty. The people of Philadelphia threw those rascals out and put in a dedicated mayor. A wave of morality swept over the country, producing a revival of righteousness.”
Oh God, oh God, it is time to pray again!
