Mixing Leaven With The Strength of God

2 Corinthians chapter 12 and verse 9: “And He said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, most gladly I would rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

What an incredible thought: that God’s strength finds its deepest expression when we become most aware of our weakness. When we think ourselves strong, our tendency, as the scripture indicates, is to mix the purity and power of God’s work in us with the leaven of our own frail and faulty human effort and reasoning. Thus, in effect, robbing ourselves of the pure and divine strength that is ours. That’s why Paul says, “I will keep my own weakness before my face, lest I should rely on any strength other than Christ in me.”

Good paragraph towards prayer. Yes, Christians have to continue to pray to Jesus Christ every day. He is the savior of the world. It is for everyone's salvation. So we know that he is coming soon but all the prophecies have to be fulfilled first then he will come. Are you ready to meet your God and He will take you to Heaven. You will be given the same resurrected body like His. God bless everyone, Christians and non-Christians.

Please pray for our son, Andrew. God gave us this verse a few years ago, when we were living overseas ... Jeremiah 31:16-17 'Thus says the Lord:"Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord, and your children will return from the enemies land. And there is hope for your future, says the Lord. Your children will come back to their own country."We have been praying for our prodigal to return to Jesus and the US.
