“Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For to you is born this day in the City of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord!'”
Merry Christmas to you from all of us here in New York City at Times Square Church. What an awesome thing to know this Christmas, in spite of what we see around us and even if our hearts are somewhat afraid of the days we’re living in, to know that Jesus came for us—to give us life, to give us freedom, to give us wholeness, to give us hope, to give us a future. It’s a message and a day of great joy to all people.
God bless you. And please remember, it’s time to pray.
