Ezekiel chapter 9 and verse 4: “And the Lord said to him, ‘Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.'”
This message is for those who are grieved, as I am, for the depth of depravity into which this nation is quickly plunging. It makes our hearts sorrowful because we are, as a people, letting the blessing and the favor of God slip right through our fingers. We are heading, as a society, to a depth of sorrow that only the righteous are fully aware of.
God will place the mark of eternal hope on our countenance today because we are not cast down nor forsaken. Our faces are lifted up to Him and they will reflect the hope and the future that only He can give. Oh please, my friend, remember: Lift your heads.
It’s time to pray.
