1 Samuel chapter 1 verse 11, “Then she made a vow and said, ‘O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life.’“
Great moments in history, and great people raised to guide them, have often been born on the wings of a mother’s prayer. As was the profit Samuel, so too was Abraham Lincoln. As we commemorate his birthday, his own words come back to mind today. He once said, “I remember my mother’s prayers, and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all of my life.” Mothers let me give you a word today-the nation needs you again.
Please remember, it’s time to pray!
