Kept Alive In Famine

Psalm 33, beginning at verse 16: “No king is saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety; neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy to deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine.”

The Old Testament prophet Amos spoke of a time in the past when the nation became starved to hear something of hope from the mouth of God. Have you ever thought lately that we, too, might be living in such a time? God’s words give caution, they give hope, they give life, protection, and the promise of a sure and a secure future. We in this nation so need to hear them again. Please pray with me that it would be soon.

Remember, it’s time to pray.

We starve to hear Gods word preached in our churches,I am so very thankful for the word that comes from time square and from other churches that are firm to bring the word of God in Spirit and in truth. It is heartbreaking seeing people I care for running around and believing that seeker friendly and word of faith churches are walking in truth.I agree with the need of prayer and to study the bible and pray for wisdom and decernment in this time not only for ourself so but for all who desire to be surrendered to Christ with all our heart mind and spirit not willing to be deceived with false teaching but to grow in the knowledge of God,having His heart to love others. In Christ alone our hope is found,He is my rock and fortress and high tower.I do pray with you for us to hear again from the mouth of God.
