John chapter 1, beginning at verse 14: “And the word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him.”
There’s something just so wonderful in the knowledge that God, though He’s fully complete in Himself, has manifested His love towards us in showing us that He longs to be part of our day. When you and I consider the contrast between heaven and earth, as wide as the difference between light and darkness, order and disorder, yet into our struggle, Jesus comes with a willingness to be both our light and our strength. If you will pray today, you, too, as John did, will see His power, His grace, and His truth, and you will know that it can still be fully yours.
It’s time to pray.
