Psalm 26, verses 6 and 7, listen to the wonderful words of King David: “I will wash my hands in innocence; so I will go about Your altar, O Lord, that I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works.”
You know, it’s so important, especially at this time, to approach God with a desire to have clean hands and a pure heart. The Scripture warns us that if you and I give place to doing wrong in our hearts, then our prayers will be hindered. Not only our prayers, but the testimony of God through our lives will be obscured.
In contrast to this, the pure in heart will see God. They will see Him every day. They will see Him doing wonderful things in their lives-things too good to keep to ourselves. That’s why King David says, “That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all Your wondrous works.”
It’s time to pray.
