Psalm 18 and verse 3, David says, “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” You know, King David had known great victories. He knew the source of his strength had come as answers to prayer. Though surrounded himself, he knew that his victory would also mean freedom for many others.
I’m sure that everything hell had tried to quiet his voice; Satan is afraid of prayer. Prayer moves both the heart and the hand of God, and when God moves, as the rest of this Psalm showed us, hell begins to tremble. Verse 7 says, “Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, because He was angry.” God wants to fight for you.
It’s time to pray.
