How Wise Are We?

Job chapter 39, beginning at verse 14, “For she leaves her eggs on the ground, and warms them in the dust; she forgets that a foot may crush them, or that a wild beast may break them. She treats her young harshly, as though they were not hers; her labor is in vain, without concern, because God deprived her of wisdom, and did not endow her with understanding.”

Now these verses speak of the ostrich, a bird apparently denied wisdom from God Himself. She leaves her future generations in a vulnerable place, seemingly unaware that they’re in danger of being trampled there.

You know, as a society we now tell our children that there is no God, and we leave them in a vulnerable place. I suppose the question I could ask is, “Are we as wise as the ostrich?”

It’s time to pray.

Wow....so true....I do not thing many people want to tell their children about God because they themselves do Not want to "feel" responsible to God to Obey him..... so if they do not speak, they have no conviction ..... just a thought... but Good word..
