The book of Acts, chapter 9, beginning at verse 10: “Now there was a certain disciple of Damascus named Ananias, and to him the Lord said in a vision, ‘Ananias.’ And he said, ‘Here am I, Lord.’ So the Lord said to him, ‘Arise, and go to the street called Straight and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarshish, for behold, he is praying.'”
There’s a promise in Scripture that God Himself will lay a clear path before us. Sometimes that pathway is fearful, calling you and I to do things that we are neither skilled nor courageous enough to do. Yet it is in these times that Christ is most glorified. Trembling, this man Ananias obeyed. In his obedience, sight was given to another man who would become one of the greatest spiritual leaders of all time. Pray for the courage to obey.
It’s time to pray.
