The Gospel of Matthew chapter 6 and verse 6, “But you, when you pray, go into your room and when you have shut your door pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.“
God loves the secret and intimate times when we choose to be alone with Him in prayer. It’s at those times, when we pour out in humility and honesty the deepest longings of our hearts. The failings of our hearts, which we most often publicly conceal, are laid bare there. God is so pleased with the honesty of this moment, that He can’t give you a secret victory. No, He has to do it openly. I guess you could say that what began in secret has now become a visible victory for everyone to see. It is no secret what God is able to do.
It’s time to pray!
