Luke chapter 6, and verse 38: “Give, and it will be given to you-good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
I have found an incredible blessing that comes when my day begins with prayer. Firstly, the Lord meets me and supplies the inner strength that I need to meet the demands that always loom on the horizon-standing like sentinels to remind me that a strength greater than my own will be needed to get through the day.
Secondly, in spite of my own needs, I find the supply and heart to give to others who are struggling and need a hand to overcome their trials. Many times at night, my heart is filled with thanksgiving because, though giving out all day, I have finished stronger than when the day began.
It’s time to pray.
Thank you so much Brother Carter for these messages and admonition. Your faithfulness to God and zeal encourage me greatly! Love and prayers your way!
I have been going through the greatest trials of my life.
I can do nothing but virtually lean on the loving arms of my Lord. At the end of the day
I only have enough strength left to thank Him with a grateful heart. I just pray it will keep on beating as He rescues my children from their entanglements and return them to their first love.
I remind myself that His ways are higher and His mercies plentiful.
Thank you too for every encouragement you give. In Him
