Don't Be Caught Unaware
/

Matthew, chapter 24, beginning at verse 38, “For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

I can’t help but sometimes wonder why so many people would be so unaware of the nearness of Jesus just prior to His return. Maybe, just maybe, the answer is really simple. The reality is that they have been out of His presence and away from His mission for so long that the whispers of God preparing their hearts could no longer be heard. Sadly, they’ll be caught in the tide of those whose minds are solely focused on earthly things.

You and I, my brothers and my sisters, listen to me carefully: It’s time to pray
