Does Your Heart Have a Door?

In a unique consideration of the familiar Luke 2 Christmas story, Pastor Carter Conlon calls attention to the closed door at the inn juxtaposed with the open manger where Jesus received society’s “least of these”—the shepherds. He’s joined on-air with daughter, Kate Hughes, as they share personal holiday memories with Scripture in view.

“The beauty as I see it is that there’s a place where God is where there’s no door. You can come if you want too.” — Carter Conlon

We were the ones that God needed that others rejected. May the Lord help us to keep our doors opened so others can go to the place “ Where Christmas Never Ends” Eternal Life!

Thank you Pastor Carter for your word about opening the door of your heart to family. You also mentioned to not give up on your family and the hope of seeing your family come to Christ. I needed to hear the message.."Just Love others"..Thank you Jesus!❤

Thankyou for that beautiful testimony of you father, and just thinking that the kindness of God leads to repentance, I pray you will have the chance again this Christmas season to share the love of Christ with the one He will bring to you. The Lord bless you and your family

No surprise! That message was so beautiful and challenging. I have dusted the picture I have of you standing between my sister and her husband a few Christmases ago in TSC. They are the ones that I pray will come to know Jesus. This photo reminds me of God's faithfulness!
    Merry Christmas to you xxxx

Thanks for sharing. We can't quit! I had a similar story with my dad. He walked out of my life when I was 3 and we had short intervals of relationship. When I became a Christian he made fun of me. I just kept loving on him and told him about Jesus and i led him to the Lord the day before he died!
