Does This Shock You
/

Isaiah chapter 47, verses 2 and 3, says this: “Take the millstones and grind meal. Remove your veil, take off the skirt, uncover the thigh, pass through the rivers. Your nakedness shall be uncovered. Yes, your shame will be seen.”

There is a point of lewdness that God will judge, but before He does so, He will remove the deceptive veil and expose our shame before the nations. In America today, we kill our children in the womb for convenience. Our godliness is a sham, our homes are broken, we mock true marriage, and export pornography. Our families are being destroyed and our society, at every possible level, is now breaking down. All that is left is prayer and the mercy of God.

Does this shock you? I hope so.

It’s time to pray!

America is in a terrible state. The state of the church is what frightens me the most. I've attended Bible college and seminary. Both of the institutions encouraged compromise. I'm encouraged by Pastor Conlon's fidelity to God--it is not heard much today.

Pastor Carter, thank you for giving truth once again to the Body of Christ. Thank you also for settling my heart. Earlier this evening I attended a Prayer meeting at a local church, with the intent of crying out to God to have mercy upon America. I was earnestly praying when The lady leading worship began
Declaring Fun over the Body of Christ. I'm thinking, Lord am I hearing right, but then she continued to say this foolish declaration. Our city is laden with drugs, and drug overdoses. Crime is on the increase. Over half the people in our city are on welfare. Little children are hungry, while parents are partying or in jail. Homelessness is on the rise. The City mission is full. But the Church that is called to answer these needs is to have fun? I left asking God to have mercy upon His church and wake us up before it's too late.
